Draw around the shape, but cut it out slightly smaller than you need. This saves you time after sticking down.
Glue them together, then using a file, sand the edges to give a neat, faded look.
Ink the edges to blend the colours. This gives a really professional 'finished' appearance. Then you're ready to decorate your tree ... you can use matching designer buttons as I have done, or glitter & ribbon. You could personalise your tree or date it at this stage, then put either matching ribbon or thread through the top ready for hanging ... gorgeous!! Let me know what you think - enjoy x
